It All Started With Soap Bubbles On My Granpa's Farm

Goats, cows, apple trees, fields of lavender... and tucked away near the back? A little wooden soap kitchen. That was my grandfather’s passion.

Every weekend, I helped him in the garden – picking rosemary, chamomile, and fresh mint. I’d watch him stir the big pot with care, pour the golden mixture into wooden molds, and later let me cut the bars myself. I felt like a magician.

I still remember Sunday afternoons like they were yesterday:
While the soaps cured, we’d make soap bubbles in the garden. The smell of herbs, the sun on my face, the laughter – it’s where my love for this craft was born.

From Farm to Formula: My Time in London

As I grew older and left the comfort of our family farm, I made what seemed like the sensible decision: I moved to Europe to study chemistry in London.

It was a big change. The city was fast, loud, and endlessly exciting. I believed that understanding the science behind skincare would help me make something meaningful.

And I did learn a lot. About the cosmetics industry. About formulas, preservatives, and synthetic shortcuts. I even studied soaps—what goes into them, how they're made, and how they’re often stripped of everything natural.

But my heart never really left the farm.
While I was surrounded by busy streets and tall buildings, I found myself longing for lavender fields, quiet mornings, and the simple rhythms of Tennessee.

I missed my grandparents. I missed the slow, loving way we used to do things.

That’s when I knew: the real formula I believed in was already in my hands.
Natural ingredients. Honest methods. And a bar of soap made not just with science—but with soul.

The Call from my Grandparents to come Home

One day, everything stopped. I got a call from my grandma—her voice trembling.
“It’s your grandpa… he’s very sick. There’s not much time.”

I panicked. Dropped everything. Packed my suitcase with shaking hands and rushed to find the next flight home. I kept hoping—just a few more hours and I could be there, hold his hand, say goodbye.

But I was too late. By the time I arrived in Tennessee, he was gone.

The house was quiet. The garden overgrown. The soap kitchen cold and still.

And suddenly, the question no one wanted to ask hung in the air:

What happens to the farm now?

My grandma couldn’t run it alone.
It was my turn to carry it forward.

The Decision for my real Passion: I took over the Farm

I had a choice to make. Go back to the city and pursue the path I thought I was supposed to follow...
Or stay, and carry on something far more meaningful.

So I stayed. At 27 years old i made the decision that i will continue running my grandparents farm.

With everything I had learned from university, the quiet wisdom of my grandmother, and my grandfather’s old handwritten recipes, we rolled up our sleeves and brought the farm back to life, together.

And we made the first batch in his honor.

It wasn’t perfect. But it was real.
And with every bar we poured, something else returned too: purpose.

Craftsmanship That Soothes the Soul & is worth the journey

Today about 40 Years later, My Soap is a sanctuary for those who long for something real—something made with care, patience, and purpose.
Each bar is crafted by hand, using time-honored methods passed down through generations.

My soaps blend traditional farm wisdom with the gentle precision of botanical science, creating a product that not only cleanses, but comforts.

We stay true to nature: using garden-grown herbs, cold-pressed oils, and zero synthetic ingredients—ensuring every bar is kind to your skin, and kinder still to the Earth.
